Canadian Cattle Youth Council: Nominations open for Maritimes and Alberta delegate positions

The Maritimes and Alberta provincial delegate positions on the Canadian Cattle Youth Council are accepting nominations and applications the 2024-2026 term.

The Canadian Cattle Youth Council was established by the Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) in 2013. The goal of the youth council is to cultivate youthful leadership by exposing young beef producers to industry policy development, while allowing them opportunities to bring fresh insight and ideas to the table. The council is made up of 10 delegates with seven provincial representatives and three members at large.

The deadline for Maritimes Delegate applications is April 30, 2024. Click HERE for more info on the position and to apply today.

The deadline for Alberta Delegate nominations is May 17, 2024. Click HERE for more info on the position and how to be nominated.

Please contact CCA Youth Programs and Engagement Manager, Jessica Radau, at radauj@cattle.ca, or your respective provincial association, with any questions.

We encourage you to share this information with a young beef producer in the Atlantic region and/or the province of Alberta to encourage them to apply to this unique networking, learning and leadership skill building opportunity.
