Minister Bibeau announced the Sustainable Agriculture Strategy (SAS) in December. This was previously being dubbed the “Green Agriculture Plan”. Consultations will be ongoing until April 2023 on SAS. CCA is sitting on the Minister’s advisory committee along with other national commodity associations and other vested stakeholders. In the coming weeks, CCA will be connecting with the wider cattle industry to put together a cohesive and comprehensive message for our submissions.
