Young Producer CRSB Certification Information Session: Monday, April 29 @ 7:00pm MST

The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB), Canadian Cattle Young Leaders, and McDonald's Canada have partnered to host a webinar aimed at providing young beef farmers and ranchers a platform to learn and ask questions about CRSB Certification and the National Beef Sustainability Assessment & Strategy report. This webinar will feature opening remarks from McDonald's Canada, the Platinum Partner of the Canadian Cattle Young Leaders Program.

This webinar offers participants a “one stop shop” to understand the incentives CRSB certification provides to producers, the value of certification for your operation and greater industry, insight on the current demand for CRSB Certified Beef, and what the envisioned future is for supply chain integration. Our goal through this partnered event is to provide value to the next generation of beef farmers, ranchers and industry professionals, whether you are currently certified, pursuing certification or seeking more information about the program.

In January, CRSB released its second and highly anticipated National Beef Sustainability Assessment (NBSA) and Strategy report. This report plays a critical role in providing a credible method to track and report progress on the Canadian Beef Industry’s 2030 goals. CRSB’s Jenna Sarich will provide an overview of the assessment, which reflects three years of in-depth scientific analysis, highlighting the Canadian beef sector’s progress between 2014 and 2021 on sustainability indicators like greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, carbon storage, people’s health and safety, animal care, and economic contributions, among many others.

Join us for this interactive event with young beef producers from across Canada to learn more about how CRSB Certification fits into your operation and the future of sustainability within the Canadian beef industry. To register, click HERE.
