Cash cow: Moosomin RCMP arrest man for cattle theft

A Whitewood farmer was in udder disbelief when he found over a dozen baby cows missing from his herd last month.

Then, on June 28, the Saskatchewan RCMP Livestock Investigator received a report from Livestock Services of Saskatchewan (LSS) about a suspicious livestock transaction.

An investigation determined that 14 calves were stolen from a farm in the RM of Silverwood, near Whitewood on three separate occasions.
