The Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) appeared at the House of Commons Standing Committee on Industry and Technology (INDU) regarding Bill C-235, An Act respecting the building of a green economy in the Prairies. This Private Member’s Bill was sponsored by Jim Carr, Member of Parliament (MP) for Winnipeg South Centre.

Tyler Fulton, CCA’s officer at large, presented CCA’s opening statement and Melanie Wowk, chair of the Alberta Beef Producers also presented. This appearance was a great opportunity for CCA to engage with MPs who do not regularly hear from us.
