CCA Fall Fly-ins: Maritimes

Every year, CCA hosts “producer fly-ins” in Ottawa to connect beef producers with government representatives to discuss Canadian beef industry priorities. On October 21 and 22, Maritime cattle producers Nick Green, Trevor Welch, Victor Oulton and Chris Sears travelled to Ottawa.

The Maritime producers joined CCA staff for meetings with Members of Parliament and Senators to discuss Canadian beef industry priorities and initiatives the federal government can undertake to support Canada’s beef sector.

Among the Parliamentarians that they met with were MPs Kody Blois, Alana Hirtle, Richard Bragdon, and Darren Fisher and Senator Victor Boudreau. We appreciate everyone who made time for these productive discussions.
