You are invited to join us virtually on Thursday, October 17 at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm CET (Rome) for "Future Leaders: Youth Advancing Livestock Sustainability"; a collaborative virtual side event empowering the next generation in the global livestock sector as part of the World Food Forum.
Co-hosted by the Canadian Cattle Association, the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock (GASL) Youth Advisory Group, Nuffield International, World Farmers’ Organisation and NGIN, this virtual side event fosters an inclusive environment for young farmers and professionals to share knowledge and drive positive change. Topics include livestock's role in nurturing biodiversity and responsibly managing grasslands, wetlands, forests, soil and water. The event features case studies on programs and youth-led initiatives to build young leaders in the livestock sector to provide inspiration and practical ideas for attendees to look to create local action. While the event has a youth focus, we seek to engage all ages and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and meaningful action from diverse perspectives.
