Congratulations to Past CCA Officer Jack Chaffe on receiving a King Charles III coronation medal!

The Ontario Cattle Feeders’ Association Board Meeting in London this past week was the subject of celebration of one of it’s members - Jack Chaffe was presented with the King Charles III coronation medal on March 31.

MPP for Perth-Wellington Matthew Rae presented the honour, “Jack continues to be an active community member and staunch proponent of beef farming in Ontario and Canada,” MPP Rae said. “Since he was 6 years old, he has been heavily involved in advocating for and improving beef farming. From ensuring consumers receive the highest quality beef, to opening more domestic and international trading opportunities, Jack has made a significant contribution to our agricultural community.”

The medal has been presented to only 30,000 remarkable Canadians, recognizing contributions to the country, or local community, and was alive on May 6, 2023.

Some of the Mitchell Ont. farmer’s accomplishments include his contributions to the Beef Farmers of Ontario, the Canadian Cattle Association, and work in foreign and sustainable trade.
