New insurance program to help grow Maritime beef sector

New Maritime Livestock Price Insurance Pilot Program has been announced for producers in PEI and New Brunswick. The program provides the opportunity for producers to purchase price protection on beef cattle as an insurance policy, in the event of unexpected market declines.
