Quorn claims “blended meat” product will reduce meat consumption

Manufacturer Quorn has launched a “blended” meat product, a combination of Quorn alternative meat and real meat, which it claims will reduce meat consumption amongst consumers.


Quorn said it had worked with customers to create a product that was a mix of both Quorn alternative meat and real meat, as its consumer-base expanded to include “flexitarians”. Using its mycoprotein ingredient, Quorn said it had worked to find “new ways to reduce meat consumption”.
