As Canada’s Parliament resumed in the late fall following the election, CCA requested interviews with each of the federal political parties, to learn about their priorities for the 44th Parliament. Specifically, we were interested in better understanding how their priorities integrate with the priorities of the Canadian beef sector. We discussed everything from trade and economic recovery to climate change and sustainability to the Next Policy Framework. We invite you to take some time to watch each interview. As Canada has a minority government, the federal parties will need to work together to bring progress in policies and legislation that positively impact and support the agricultural industry.
