Representatives from Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO) were back on Parliament Hill on May 10, 2022. Several in-person meetings were held with Members of Parliament and Senators to discuss key policy priorities including the important role cattle producers play when it comes to environmental sustainability, increasing exports of Canadian beef, and addressing the current processing capacity challenges in Canada to help ensure our competitiveness and ability to capitalize on trade opportunities.
We had another successful day. We look forward to hosting Parliamentarians this summer at beef farms and ranches across Canada and continuing these important conversations.
