Calving Tales webinar for young beef producers a success!

(L-R Top) Event moderators and YCC delegates Laura Plett and Holly Sparrow, interviewing the Calving Tales producer panel with David Haywood-Farmer, (L-R bottom) Tyler Fulton and Stan Christensen.

On February 8, 2022, the CCA’s Young Cattlemen’s Council (YCC) hosted a “Calving Tales” webinar aimed at young beef farmers and ranchers. A panel made up of experienced cattle producers from across Canada drew from their own experiences to share their tips and tricks for calving season success.

Thank you to David Haywood-Farmer (BC), Tyler Fulton (MB) and Stan Christensen (QC) for a great evening filled with thought provoking stories and best practices, with a few good laughs along the way.

If you're interested in learning more from the panel discussion, a recording is available below.

The Young Cattlemen’s Council looks forward to hosting more webinars in the future for its young producer-based membership on topics of interest to the Canadian beef industry’s next generation.
