CCA emphasizes trade priorities at annual Fall Barbecue on the Hill

The Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) directors and staff hosted their annual Barbecue on the Hill on October 4 to welcome back Parliamentarians for the fall session. As Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators return to Ottawa, this is a valuable opportunity to reconnect on key priorities for the beef industry and to showcase Canadian beef supporting sustainable farming and ranching practices that meet CRSB standards.

In CCA President Nathan Phinney's address to Parliamentarians and staffers, he emphasized the environmental benefits of Canadian beef production and promoted the importance science-based trade standards.

CCA appreciated the support of Senator Rob Black and his office in co-hosting this event, as well as the Canadian Propane Association and InterCity Packers for their sponsorship.
