On November 24, 2021, the Canadian Cattlemen's Association (CCA) was pleased to attend the Canadian Western Agribition International Reception that recognized the Top 50 in Canadian agriculture. We’re pleased to see CCA Executive Vice-President, Dennis Laycraft, recognized as one of the Top 50 for being a “deal maker”, ensuring the beef sector is always at the right table when its time to do the deal. Among the Top 50 are many other beef industry leaders you can view on the full list below. Congratulations to all and thank you for your tireless advocacy efforts!
Later in the week on November 28, 2021, the CCA met with Opposition Leader, Erin O’Toole, along with a number of Conservative members of parliament to discuss the beef sector’s priorities going into the 44th Parliament. CCA Director, Ryan Beierbach, along with CCA staff, Fawn Jackson, toured the Conservative Caucus around the barns at Agribition sharing firsthand experiences to further our advocacy objectives.
