CCA to co-host sessions at the new virtual Ag In Motion event


This year’s Ag in Motion, the largest outdoor farm show in western Canada, will be held virtually from July 21 – 25, 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. It is free for producers across Canada to attend and will include informative sessions and a digital trade show.


Ag In Motion’s Livestock Central will have exclusive programming for beef producers. The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association is co-hosting two sessions with the Canadian Cattlemen Magazine including:

  • A panel discussion titled “Building Resiliency in the Beef Industry” featuring Bob Lowe, CCA President, Maryjo Tait, Celtic Farms Inc., Marcel Blais, President & CEO, CHOP Steakhouse, and Jarrod Gillig, Business Operations and Supply Chain Leader for Cargill Protein – North America.

  • A special screening of Guardians of the Grasslands followed by interviews with John Jamieson, President & CEO of the Centre for Food Integrity and Sarah Wray and Ben Wilson, Story Brokers Media House, on communications strategies for building public trust in agriculture.
