On December 15, 2020, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) launched a web page providing background information, factsheets and other resources related to the regulatory development process around the Fisheries Act. Over the next year or more, DFO is seeking input from stakeholders on developing new policies, frameworks, instruments and guidance on the regulatory implementation of the Act.
The web page houses information on how engagement will happen, the development of codes of practice, a prescribed works regulation, cumulative effects and more. Page visitors can post questions and input as well. For more information, visit: talkfishhabitat.ca/
