The Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) is delighted with the positive feedback it has received with the launch of its new Calving Record book. The previous incarnation has been incredibly popular with producers, but it was felt that it was time to make some improvements. Working closely with our partners at Verified Beef Production Plus (VBP+) and the Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC), we’ve produced a fantastic new record book that is also packed with useful resources. The CCIA Calving Record book is available to order directly from the CCIA web store either on its own, or with RFID tags and applicators.
The CCIA will also have plenty of the new record books on hand at its booth at the Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC), being held in our home city of Calgary next month (August 14th – 17th), for visiting delegates.
Delegates are, for a limited time, able to place tag orders in the CCIA web store for collection from the CCIA booth at CBIC, saving on all shipping and handling costs. The CCIA team will also be taking orders at CBIC for direct dispatch to producers' premises.
At the time of writing, there are also just a few places left for CBIC delegates on our exclusive tour being held on August 14th. Delegates will get the opportunity to meet with CCIA leadership, tour its Calgary offices and National Distribution Centre, as well as take advantage of a freshly prepared complimentary breakfast. Interested delegates can sign up here.
