As part of CCA’s summer outreach, Parliamentarians were invited on tours of beef farms and ranches in or near their constituencies. These tours present a great opportunity for Ministers, MPs and Senators to have a tangible example of the great work of the beef industry that they can share with their colleagues in Ottawa. Tours covered aspects of environmental stewardship, animal health, processing capacity, and of course, the serious impacts of the drought.
