The Future of Canadian Agribusiness - The Simpson Centre Webinar Series

Canada feeds the world with its agrifoods exports, and Canadians care about our environment, sustainability, and keeping Canadians employed. With the backdrop of a year of COVID-19, this webinar explores Canada’s key agriculture challenges, and the work of the Simpson Centre for Agricultural and Food Innovation and Public Education. Presented by the Centre’s director, Dr. Guillaume Lhermie, the webinar features a panel discussion of industry experts.

Strategies and Solutions - Securing Canada's Food Supply How will climate change affect agriculture in Canada? The Globe and Mail hosted a live webcast on January 27 to bring farmers and experts together to discuss weather-related considerations in food production. The event featured a discussion Evan Fraser, Director of the Arrell Food Institute with the University of Guelph, who shared his perspective on what a changing climate means to agriculture in Canada. The webinar also included a panel of farmers and experts discussing practical approaches to sustainable agriculture.
